The brand Romeo Gigli revolutionized the way of conceiving fashion by offering throughout all of the ‘80s exaggerations, travelling, timeless and diaphanous women.
The creations signed by Romeo Gigli have been capable of fascinating, with the very first collection, New York and Milan's catwalks since 1983, within the official prêt-à-porter schedule, plus Paris with its fashion show back in 1988.

Behind every single dress, beyond the fabric, lives a thought, a deep exploration throughout eras, books and distant worlds.

His creations come to life on the human body with lightness and grace, just like alive and organic elements, switching from a bi-dimensional dimension to a tri-dimensional one.
The geometrical designs of the outerwear and the dress get broken up and later on reassembled, following softened, geometrical planes, which acquire their structure and seamless fitting depending on who's wearing them.

Every element is exclusively organic, not decorative, thanks also to a deep study of the fabrics.

The revolutionary egg shape evokes a new Renaissance era within the fashion industry.
After years of absence, the brand comes back skyrocketing with its new property Eccentric, which gives the stylistic evolution of the brand to
Alessandro De Benedetti, embracing its new beginning from the SS/20 collection.

The choice of Alessandro De Benedetti as the creative captain of the brand comes from the lawyer Pietro Suaria, major partner of Eccentric Srl, feeling sure that he was truly the only designer to have in his DNA Romeo Gigli's dream and taste.

The main target of the brand, entirely conceived, created and made in Italy, is to find again the magic and sophisticated touch which marked the label inside the fashion olympus.
